For a crisp, bitter West Coast IPA, LalBrew BRY-97 is the pick. It is clean and neutral like US-05 but flocculates high, dropping the beer bright to show off hop bitterness, and it tolerates 13% alcohol for a big double IPA.
Pitch a full dose and aerate well, because BRY-97 has a longer lag than US-05. If you want haze and soft body instead, this is the wrong strain; it is built to drop clear.
