Notes

Recommended for Belgian ale, spiced ale, saison base, Belgian wheat.

Character: Intense fruity and phenolic: banana, clove and peppery notes.

A phenolic Belgian strain famous for banana, clove and pepper, powdery in suspension so it can leave a light haze. It attenuates modestly at 72 to 78%, far less than a saison strain, so it gives Belgian character without a bone-dry finish. Pair it with a champagne yeast if you also want the saison dryness.
