Notes

Recommended for Munich helles, Pilsner, Vienna, Marzen, cold-fermented lager.

Character: Neutral and clean, typical of traditional lagers, POF-negative.

A clean German-style lager strain that can finish in about seven days and tolerates 13% alcohol, which is high for a lager yeast. Unlike an ale strain it works cold, so a fermentation fridge or cold cellar is not optional.
