Notes
Recommended for Irish stout, dry stout, Irish red ale, porter.
Character: Slight fruity ester and a soft, clean, dry finish with a touch of diacetyl.
The Irish stout strain, giving a slight fruit and a soft, clean finish that lets roasted malt lead, which is exactly what a dry stout wants. It can leave a touch of diacetyl, so give it a rest at the end of fermentation. It is the classic liquid choice for a Guinness-style stout.
