Notes

Recommended for Belgian golden strong ale, Belgian blond, Belgian pale ale.

Character: Fruity, mildly phenolic and spicy; finishes dry and deceptively strong.

The Duvel strain, built for a Belgian golden strong ale, combining fruit, a mild phenol and spice with a dry, deceptively strong finish and a high alcohol tolerance. Its low flocculation keeps it in suspension so it finishes the high-gravity wort a golden strong starts from. Ferment warm and give it plenty of oxygen and nutrient.
