Notes

Recommended for American pale ale, American IPA, any clean ale.

Character: Very clean and neutral, low ester, lets hops and malt lead.

The original liquid Chico strain and the reference clean American ale yeast, the same lineage as US-05 and Wyeast 1056. Its neutrality is the point, so it is the default for hop-forward American beers. It flocculates medium and can be a little slow to clear, so cold crash or fine for a bright beer.
