Notes
Typical use: Dual-purpose. Recommended for West Coast IPA, American amber, American stout.
Aroma: Herbal and almost smoky, with tarragon, juniper and lavender balanced by grapefruit and stone fruit.
A high-alpha bittering hop that craft brewers rehabilitated for aroma, where its pine, grapefruit and herbal-smoky character shines. Lower myrcene and higher humulene than the tropical hops give it a resinous, spicy edge. Popular as a clean bittering charge under a citrus dry hop.
