Notes

For a malt whisky wash, DistilaMax MW is the dedicated distilling strain. It ferments the full sugar spectrum of a malted-barley mash and holds up to 15% alcohol by volume, taking the wash to strength cleanly while building the fruity congeners a whisky wants.

It is a distilling yeast for a wash headed to the still, not a beer yeast; do not judge it on finished-beer flavour. Ferment warm and let it take the wash to full attenuation before distillation.
