Notes
Recommended for California common, steam beer, amber lager.
Character: Clean lager character produced at warm ale-like temperatures.
The classic steam-beer lager strain that ferments warm, in the high 50s to mid 60s Fahrenheit, and still gives a clean lager character, which is what defines a California common. It flocculates high and drops bright. It is the liquid route to a lager-style beer without deep cold control.
