Both are low-alpha Saaz-group noble hops used for delicate aroma, but Tettnang is softer with a cream-caramel and almond note while Saaz is more spicy, cedar and floral.
Choose Tettnang for a gentle, refined noble aroma in a lager, wheat beer or Kölsch.
Choose Saaz for the classic spicy-floral backbone of a Czech Pilsner.
