Notes
Typical use: Aroma (noble). Recommended for German helles, Munich lager, hefeweizen.
Aroma: Spicy-woody with myrrh, carnation and lilac, plus red currant and lemon.
The landrace noble hop of the Hallertau and the reference aroma of a German helles. Low alpha and delicate spicy-floral oil mean it is an aroma hop used in quantity. Wilt susceptibility nearly wiped it out before virus-free stock brought it back; brewers pay for the name because the aroma is hard to match.
